This position is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Position Description

Mission

  • Support expatriates throughout all aspects of their relocation process.

Activities & Responsibilities

  • Establish initial virtual contact with expatriates;
  • Identify expatriates’ needs;
  • Plan the different stages of the relocation process (airport welcome, assistance with administrative procedures, housing search, etc.);
  • Welcome and assist expatriates in person;
  • Record mandate information on the work platform;
  • Prepare reports summarizing completed steps according to established procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Any relevant combination of education and experience will be considered;
  • Extensive intercultural experience, including international experience;
  • Bilingual in French and English, both spoken and written (a third language is an asset);
  • Strong knowledge of your city/province/country;
  • General understanding of government services and systems (immigration, housing, etc.);
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, diplomacy, and flexibility;
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and willingness to travel within a large area;
  • Clean criminal record.

  • Part-time contract position (10 to 15 hours per week depending on assignments)
  • Flexible schedule

Location

  • Remote work combined with travel
