Are you an internationally educated nurse looking to practice in British Columbia? As part of the CarriElles Santé Project, the British Columbia Economic Development Corporation (BCEDC) invites you to an exclusive information session focused on the recognition of your nursing license. For this session, we are pleased to welcome a representative from Inspire Global Assessments (IGA), the official organization mandated to assess the competencies of international nurses in B.C.
Highlights of this event include:
- IGA’s Role: understanding the evaluation stage in the overall process with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- Integrated Assessment (Triple-Track): Learn how a single assessment evaluates your skills for the roles of Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), and Health Care Assistant (HCA)
- Exam Formats: Demystifying Computer-Based Assessments (CBA) and Practical Laboratory Simulations (Simulation Lab Assessment—SLA)
- Question-and-Answer (Q&A) Session: Ask our guest your questions directly and get official answers.
Who is this workshop for?
This workshop is intended for internationally trained nurses who are eligible for the CarriElles Santé program (French-speaking or bilingual women residing in British Columbia or in the process of settling there) and who wish to begin, understand, or expedite the process of having their professional credentials recognized.
