Collège Éducacentre, the only Francophone college in British Columbia, is seeking a Teaching and Academic Support Coordinator to deliver post-secondary courses in its Special Education Assistant (SEA) program as part of the International Student Program.

- Contract Duration: Permanent
- Hourly Rate: $34–$38/hour
- Schedule: 30 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of Collège Éducacentre
- Participate in academic committees for scheduling and program planning
- Teach SEA courses in person
- Prepare and adapt instructional materials for diverse learning styles
- Provide academic support to students
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Respond to student emails
- Collaborate with academic and administrative staff
- Apply institutional policies
- Support students experiencing difficulties
- Perform other related duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a college diploma in a related discipline
- Experience as a Special Education Assistant or working with SEAs
- Knowledge of the SEA program
- Knowledge of the SEA profession in British Columbia
- Strong oral and written French communication skills
- MS Office, Internet, Zoom and Moodle knowledge is an asset
- Knowledge of immigrant communities is an asset
